Hildale Park - Where People Care about People

Welcome to the Hildale Park Web Site, generously provided without cost by the American Bible Society.
Congratulations to the twenty or so people who braved the snow, fallen live wires, and trees blocking roads to attend the Oct 30, 2011 worship service. Hildale Park has had a Sunday worship service every Sunday since 1917 save one, this August in the aftermath of the hurricane, when Tony was on vacation, the church clerk/speaker couldn't get out of his driveway due to flooding, and the subsitute organist couldn't get his car out of the garage due to power failure. This has been some year!
As we transition from 2011, when Jane and I celebrated with you our 40 years of ministry together at Hildale Park, to 2012, I want to say what a joy it is to serve with you. Since my junior year in college when I announced to my parents my desire to become a minister, I have never looked back with any doubts or regrets. When God called us here, we knew immediately this was where He wanted us. Our children have grown up in Hildale Park and we have spent all but 29 years of our life with you. I have been blest with good health and a very supportive congregation. I look forward to many more years of sharing the Gospel of Christ with this great church.
